Every spring, we embark on the daunting yet rewarding journey of sifting through thousands of submissions in search of the best engagement photos of the year. This time, we invited three friends of Junebug–The Apartment Photography of Vancouver, Andri Tei from Singapore, and From the Daisies based in Boulder, Colorado–to join us as judges for the 2024 Engagement contest. Once we gathered for a team Zoom call that spanned multiple time zones, it became evident that we had assembled a dream team. We could trust our judges to not only select winners that were technically beautiful, but photos that upheld Junebug’s core values of inclusivity, originality, diversity, and artistry.
While the 2024 Engagement Best of the Best Contest Final Collection is everything we hoped for, we’re here to present the 30 images that almost made the final cut. Our Honorable Mention photos are standouts in their own right, demonstrating love’s beauty within a pre-wedding scenario–where schedules are more relaxed than a wedding, the attire is more casual, and anything feels possible.
